A key highlight of the day was the announcement of HMI Medical’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SBS Transit. Through this partnership, HMI Institute, as part of HMI Medical, will collaborate with Singapore’s leading transportation provider to make health and emergency preparedness resources more accessible to the public. By empowering the community with essential knowledge, we aim to create a healthier and more resilient community.

At our booth, community members of all ages took part in CPR demonstrations and discussions on emergency preparedness. These hands-on activities helped them understand the importance of first response skills in everyday life—whether at home, school, work, or in public spaces.

Our stage activity drew a lively crowd as our Chief Instructor guided participants through recognising early warning signs of emergencies. They also practised CPR techniques on manikins, reinforcing the importance of immediate response in critical situations.

Every interaction throughout the event reinforced our mission: to empower individuals with the skills and confidence to respond in emergencies. We are grateful to everyone who participated and look forward to more opportunities to build a safer, more prepared community together.
